BEFORE YOU COME
19+. Ontario's legal drinking age is 19 and this is a licensed room, so there's no way around it. Bring government photo ID — a driver's licence, passport, or Ontario photo card. Health cards and photos of your ID on your phone don't work.
If you're 18, join the list anyway. Tell us your age and we'll message you the month you turn 19.
Come correct. No athletic wear, no work boots, no bucket hats. Beyond that, dress how you want to be photographed — there will be two photographers in the room all night.
Friday 6 November. Everyone on the waitlist gets the link 48 hours before it goes public — that's the whole reason the waitlist exists. Price is announced on the day of the drop.
Plan on no. We hold back a small number for the door but they usually don't exist by the time we open. If you want to be in the room, buy when it drops.
Tickets are non-refundable but fully transferable up to 24 hours before doors — transfer it in your ticket account and the new name shows at the door. No transfers on the day.
Almost certainly. There's a photography notice at the entrance and it's in the ticket terms. If you'd rather not appear in anything we post, tell any staff member and we'll take you out of the set.
One rule that covers most of it: nobody in this room has to put up with being harassed. Door staff are briefed, security is briefed, and there's a manager on the floor all night. Tell anyone with a Shayo Life wristband and it gets handled immediately — you won't be asked to explain yourself twice.
Venue is confirmed two weeks out and we publish the full accessibility details — step-free entry, accessible washrooms, quiet space — with the reveal. If you need to know before you buy, email us and we'll tell you as soon as we've signed.
